In keeping with the trend of illuminating the memory of Late President Nelson Mandela Month, the Trust continues to open one library in July which is regarded as International Mandela Month
Goede Hoop Primary was lucky enough to be identified as the school of choice by the Trustees. While the school had an area to be used to set up a library, it was not big enough to cater for the needs of over 2000 learners. The school offered a section of the school hall to be incorporated into the existing room.
Renovations at this schools took longer and obviously at greater cost, but the fact that the Trust could impact over 2000 learners at one go served as motivation to continue.
The high-profile handover on 16 July was attended by dignitaries from Gauteng Department of Education, District D18 and from the two sponsoring companies, Imperial and Motus Corporation.
