Our upgrade projects are funded by donors and the support networks of our Trustees who undertake improvements to Grade R classrooms and facilities in our ambit. Often, the learning conditions of these four-to-five year-old children are substandard, to say nothing of the poor sanitary conditions of the feeding and food preparation areas at schools.
Grade R classrooms upgrades take place mostly during Mandela Month, when companies are eager to associate themselves and their brands with the vision articulated by the late President Nelson Mandela in the rebuilding of schools and society through education.
Upgrades to feeding areas are only commenced when funding is made available through our business partners, friends and donors. Similarly, at many schools where we have planted libraries, the feeding areas are neither paved nor covered overhead to protect children from heat, dust or rain.

No amount is too small; every cent will go towards the Grade R upgrade object, making classrooms and nutrition zones conducive and pleasant for these little ones.
