This primary school, situated in a new extension to the suburb of Naturena, was erected according to the latest building specifications by the Gauteng Department of Education. It is a multi-level building with a beautiful view of the south of Johannesburg. The location and ambience allow for an environment conducive to learning and teaching.
The new building already had a bright and spacious library, but unfortunately there were only two sets of shelving – both empty of books, a counter, and numerous pallets of bottled water donated to the school.
With this clean slate to work from, and not requiring any refurbishment, the library was completed for handover in the shortest time.
The busy library resource center has become the epicentre of the school – and with good management, we trust that it would long stay this way.
